Uncle Alber's has been formulated to meet or exceed the nutritional specifications recommended by the National Research Council, Academy of Sciences, U.S.A. By weight Uncle Alber's is higher in protein and contains considerably less water than either fresh meat or canned dog food and is balanced for other essential nutrients such as fat, fibre, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and minerals.

FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS
Because Uncle Alber's is a highly nutritious concentrated food your dog may require less by volume than some other dry dog foods. Introduce Uncle Alber's gradually and increase the quantity fed until the recommended amount is reached. The recommended rates are a guide only and should be regulated depending upon the activity and body condition of your dog. If your dog is not familiar with dry dog food it may take a few days to get used to the different crunchy texture. Gradually reduce the amount of usual food and increase the amount of Uncle Alber's. It should not take long for your dog to be enjoying nutritious meals of Uncle Alber's.





PUPPIES
Puppies should be able to chew Uncle Alber's from about 8 weeks of age, prior to this moisten with milk. From 10 weeks to 26 weeks feed approximately 50gms per 1kg of body weight, from 6 months to 1 year feed approximately 35gms per 1kg of body weight.

INGREDIENTS
Uncle Alber's is formulated from a selection of the following ingredients. Cooked meat or meat by-products derived from beef, lamb, poultry or pork. Cooked fish or fish by-products. Fat, cooked cereals and wheaten bran. Products derived from canola and soyabeans. Lysine, methionine, antioxidant, bentonite, vitamins and minerals.
Vitamins: A, D3, E, K, B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B6 (pyridoxine), B12, niacin, pantothenate, folic acid and biotin.
Minerals: Calcium, phosphorus, sodium, chloride, cobalt, copper, iodine, iron, manganese, selenium and zinc.
