The original Y shaped fence post, made in Australia using Australian steel, it's designed for use in most fence line designs where medium stock pressure is expected. Galstar Extreme^® is commonly teamed up with the intermediate MaxY post for higher pressure applications.

• The hot-dipped galvanized coating makes these posts suitable for use in medium-to-high corrosive environments.
• Waratah uses a multiple stand "in-line" rolling process to manufacture Galstar Extreme^® which delivers a consistent shape and steel cross section for strength and performance.
• Consistent hole spacings allow easy wire attachment and correct fence design.
• Less bulky than timber, concrete and pipe, this post is easier to transport, requires no machinery to install and can be carried along the fence line by one person, saving time and money.

Made of high grade Australian steel, the MaxY is the largest engineered Y-shape post. It's designed for use as an intermediate fence post or for medium-to-high stock pressure environments, where previously pipe, concrete or timber posts may have been used.

• It's ideal in rocky undulating country, where additional wire support may be needed
• The hot-dipped galvanized coating makes these posts suitable for use in medium-to-high corrosive environments
• The Y shape provides improved ground holding and better visibility.
• Consistent hole spacings allow for easy wire attachment and correct fence design
• MaxY is less bulky than timber, concrete and pipe, easier to transport, requires no machinery to install and can be carried along the fence line by one person saving time and money.

Made in Australia from Waratah grade specific steel this is the strongest, toughest, and most flexible Waratah post ever made.

• Hot dipped galvanized coating (min 600g/m2) provides the best steel corrosion protection.
• The innovative oval shaped holes make it suitable for all fencing applications with more attachment options than other Y posts with round holes. More Jio post holes improve wire alignment and attachment.
• The holes are designed to line up with traditional Y posts with round holes and allow for multiple accessory options like clips, ties, and electrics.
• The Jio is easy and quick to install with a manual post driver.

Twice as strong and double the profile of the Jio^® Star^® post., this is a reliable intermediate post option that improves ground holding & performance.

It has the strength to resist higher impact loads whilst still being easier to transport and install compared to timber, concrete and pipe.

• Waratah^® have developed the Jio^® MaxY^® post to be bigger, stronger, more ductile and with more attachment points than other posts.
• The life of the post is extended with hot dipped galvanized coating (min 600g/m2) providing the best steel corrosion protection.
• More Jio post holes improve wire alignment and while the oversize hole shape provides more attachment options than traditional Y posts with round holes. Their design flexibility allows them to line up with traditional Y post round holes.
• Tough enough to resist fracturing under stress, yet flexible enough to allow restraightening if deformed from significant force these posts are quick and easy to install with a manual post driver.
• Use with JiO wire clips for fast & secure fixing of wires and with other accessories such as ties and electrics.

Our Drive-Tight steel fence posts allow you to hand-drive your post without needing a pneumatic driver. It drives in straighter than a round post, yet still offers the versatility of a round post. You are not restricted by 90 degrees like you are with an angle post.

If you have a machine, the Drive-Tight post drives a lot easier and quicker due to the picket base, resulting in less wear and tear on your machine.

To ensure that it is secure in the ground, we have included two lugs at a 40-degree angle that allows you to drive two half-star pickets at an angle into the ground. These three points of anchorage gives you an extra strong strainer post.

Key Features:

Are you looking to fix up an existing end assembly, or want something that lasts? Our fitting kits are simple and can take 5 minutes to install.
