Equitex is an easy to use, non-sterile, all purpose poultice dressing which can be used as a hot, cold or dry dressing.
Equitex is a high quality cotton dressing with a non woven gauze covering and plastic on the reverse side. Equitex has a non-abrasive cover, making it gentle on skin. Equitex retains shape when wet (will not stretch or fall apart). Also contains Tragacanth.

Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When using the product, wear elbow length rubber gloves and wash hands after use. After each day’s use, wash gloves. Equitex should not be used in conjunction with any other medical preparations except with the advice of a veterinarian. Consult your vet before applying the poultice to infected wounds. Ensure the bandage is not applied too tightly, and that the poultice is not too hot.

Apply with the plastic backing away from the skin. The dressing should be renewed at least once every 12 hours.
